Planetary Transit Study Telescope (PTST) – Mallorca, Spain
In 2011 a CDK24 was installed for the University of Hamburg for the purpose of follow-up studies of the transit of the exoplanet star Qatar-1.The main goal was to better constrain the system’s orbital and physical parameters and to analyze the plausibility of transit timing variations.
The telescope observed 16 new primary transits of Qatar-1b between May and September, 2013 and collected 42 primary transits within a time baseline of 2 years.
