DeltaRho 500 Astrograph: Newest Telescope from PlaneWave Instruments

April 12, 2023, ADRIAN, MICHIGAN–PlaneWave Instruments, a leading manufacturer of telescopes and astronomical instruments, is excited to announce the release of the DeltaRho 500 astrograph telescope. This new addition to PlaneWave’s product lineup is designed for uncompromising performance with a fast, wide- field optical system.

The DeltaRho 500 f/3 system features a 508 mm aperture and a 1537 mm focal length, making it an ideal choice for observing deep space objects and capturing high-resolution images. The telescope can be equipped with PlaneWave’s innovative Direct Drive L-500 Mount, which provides fast and precise pointing with zero backlash.

The DeltaRho 500 comes with a line of optional accessories, such as the Series-5XL focuser and the Series-5 image de-rotator that can be operated using PlaneWave’s advanced software suite, which includes the popular PlaneWave Interface 4 (PWI4) and PWI Telescope Control software.
