Event Recap: A Successful Open House & Science Expo

The skies above PlaneWave Instruments were abuzz with excitement this past weekend as we hosted our annual Open House and Science Expo. We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the local community and all those who joined us for this event. Your presence made this weekend truly remarkable!

At PlaneWave Instruments, we firmly believe in the power of scientific exploration. Our Open House and Science Expo aimed to share this belief with our community, and we are genuinely grateful for the positive response.

From curious youngsters to seasoned astronomers, our event catered to all. Visitors had the chance to explore our state-of-the-art telescopes and observatory solutions, igniting their passion for the cosmos. The guided tours and hands-on experiences allowed guests to witness the beauty of exploring the sky like never before.

The highlight of our event was the engaging talks and workshops led by our team of experts, guest speakers, and our featured partners. Attendees delved into the fascinating worlds of astrophotography, stargazing techniques, woodcraft, arts, and the science behind celestial wonders. These insights offered a deeper understanding of art and science all in one place.

This event also fostered a deep sense of community. We were thrilled to see people of all ages come together, united by a common love for exploring space, art, and  curiosity. We’re filled with gratitude for the shared passion that binds us together and remain committed to providing the tools and knowledge necessary to explore the wonders of the universe.

A special thank youto our featured partners for this event Adrian Center for the Arts (ACA), Sam Beauford Woodworking Institute, Above Pete’s Garage Audio Visual Mentoring (APG), Lenawee Intermediate School District (LISD), Jackson College, Institute for Student Astronomical Research (InStAR), River Raisin Ragtime Review (R4), Siena Heights University (SHU), Adrian Public Schools (APS).
