Space Situational Awareness (SSA) was synonymous with detecting, tracking, and identifying objects in orbit until space became more congested. With Space Force’s announcement to change SSA to Space Domain Awareness (SDA) in 2019, it is necessary to monitor satellites and other nations’ space activities.
